Miyazaki considered to be one of the expensive mangoes in the world. The mango normally weighs 350 grams and above and rich in red colour. Miyazaki variety is originally from the Irwin mango variety. The mango is different from the pelican mango, which is widely grown in Southeast Asia. In Japanese, the variety is called Taiyo no Tamago (Egg of the Sun), due to its peculiar shape and colour.
